When you're a good employee you bust your ass in hopes that the big boss will notice and say "Wow we should promote that employee". When you're a good employee, you never call out of work, you do overtime and bend over backwards for your bosses, in hopes they will notice what a good employee you are and how you want to move up. When you're a good employee, your management will come to you for advice. You will do everything possible to please your management and help them with their work. It really is hard work to be a good employee, someone the boss can be proud of, someone that the boss can take all the work they have done and present it to their own bosses, or other departments and present it as their own. When in reality, you know you've done the work and received no credit for that work. It was stolen right out underneath you, but you think in the back of your mind, that set of management is going to take your work and think in their heads, "This person is really valuable."
DO THEY EVER NOTICE? DO THEY EVER GIVE APPRECIATION? DO THEY GO THE EXTRA MILE? DO THEY EVER, EVER, EVER, ACTUALLY GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE PEOPLE THAT BUST THEIR ASSES FOR THEM?
The answer is coming shortly.
